| 9:30 a.m. For your convenience our Nursery and adjoining Children's Library opens at 9:30 a.m., providing care for children ages 6 months to 5th grade. 10:20 a.m. Our summer schedule includes The One Room Schoolhouse for younger children and a separate gathering for teens. Fun with the bible is what it's about. This fall we will return to our academic year curriculum that leads children through the basics of our faith and into preparation for a more adult understanding of God, Christ, Scripture and self. Our children mean everything to us! Our Sunday School is active and developing in ever new directions. We also believe that it is important for children to have an active role in the worship life of the congregation. Sunday school classes join their parents at the Peace to participate in Holy Communion. Younger children are invited to bring the oblations of bread and wine to the altar, and those age nine-years-old and up are encouraged to serve as acolytes.
