Rector’s Forum 9:15 – 10 a.m. in Campbell Hall Bible Study plain and simple--with some fun thrown in. Led by Fr. Steve at 9:15 a.m. in Campbell Hall, we will take up the lesson and really go into it to see what it has to say for us in our own day. Lots of learning. Lots of discussion. Lots of informal fun. We’ll do it the Anglican way--messy as all get out, but in full expectation that the Holy Spirit will speak to us and through us. Men’s Propers Breakfasts Wednesday mornings from 7 to 8:30 a.m. (or so) in the Guild Room A more than thirty-year tradition at St. Paul's! Join with the men of the parish for vigorous conversation about the scripture lessons assigned for the following Sunday. We meet at 7 a.m. for coffee, hot rolls and juice while we discuss each of the lessons in a way that often takes us into how our faith gets expressed in the daily events of our lives. All the men of the parish are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate. Wednesday Night Theological Reflection 7 - 8 p.m. in the Guild Room Otherwise known as Bible Study, we meet in the Guild Room for tea, prayer and dawdling our way through books of the Bible as we choose them. We are in no hurry and entertain every question, doubt or thought about what scripture means for us. All are welcome, no experience needed, come as you are. Just show up and enjoy jovial fellowship and stimulating bible study. Women’s Ecumenical Bible Study THURSDAY mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Guild Room This ecumenical Bible study group of women from several different churches meets during the academic year and uses contemporary study guides from many different Christian traditions to help them open Scripture up to a deeper meaning for them. Please consider joining this enthusiastic group, and bring a friend! Renovaré Renovaré (“renewal”) is based on small groups of five to seven who gather to study short readings from great writings in Christian spirituality. Once formed, each group commits to working together through the academic year. New groups will be open in September and organized as needed. For more information, please contact the church office (509-529-1083 or email stpauls@hscis.net ). Come and be blessed. Adult

Wednesday Night with the Bible Fun, fellowship and the pleasure of wandering at a leisurely pace through Holy Scripture with plenty of time for conversation about it. Come be a part of it every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:00. New to St. Paul’s First Friday Alternative Worship Services With the successful experience of eight Saturday night U2Charists behind us we have decided to go with a new series of Friday evening informal Eucharists, possibly preceded by a potluck, very family friendly, and featuring a variety of musical accompaniments both live and recorded. Dates for this fall are: October 5, November 2, December 7, January 4. They will continue into the winter and spring. If successful we will try to go to twice a month or even weekly, depending on the availability of clergy resources. |
